Corriente Belt Operations

Corriente, known locally as the 'Copper Capital of S. America,' has been home to hundreds of copper mining operations over the years. In 2018, 3P Minerals won a bid to take over an existing operation from an Ecuadorian copper extraction company. Though the site is mainly used to copper extraction, Gold and Silver deposits are also being extracted within the immediate area.

Geologist Fernando Durán Martín leads the operation which is expected to have a life of 12 years.
