Escondida Operations

In 2017, 3P Minerals began negotiations to enter a partnership for Escondida operations with three partner companies. 3P Minerals was requested by the coalition due to their patented exploration and detection technologies primarily. By the end of 2017, the joint venture saw the first underground mining operations commence with 6K tonnes produced in the first quarter of 2018 alone.

In 2021, the operation produced 36K tonnes of Gold, a record number in the region.

3P Minerals has since bought out 2 of the partners in the venture, for a 78% stake in the operation which remains promising as the sites expand.
